Miss dd who is 3 has chicken pox. She has her 18 month varicella jab and the dr says he has never seen such a bad case after the vax

Poor poppett is saying they hurt. She has one On the corner of her mouth. One in the corner of her eye, 2 on her genitals, one on her tongue and another I spotted on her gum inside her cheek.

And of course around 100 or so more everywhere else.

I've never seen or had chicken pox (had my vax 3 weeks ago) so how can I help her, particularly the eye and mouth ones...... Even in her ear??

We do calamine and pine tar bath solution but she won't eat or drink and the drinking is really a problem because she is getting dehydrated her lips are all dry and cracking already

I went to the dr today, he said she can go back to child care Monday but wasn't all the helpful with remedies for now. Should I be worried? Is there more I can do? The pintarsol seems to be working a treat on her body but doesn't help other areas obviously. Is there anything I should be watching for that might require another dr visit?

Tia I'm such a worrywart
