I agree that you cant do anything if you dont know your little one is sick, but I have seen one little girl at childcare with the most amazing amount of green snot running down her face. Can't miss that one. I will be ringing the centre tomorrow to complain and let them know that there has been another outbreak.
I have taken Matthew to the doctor today, and what do you know, he has I quote "a really nasty middle ear infection and a very sore throat" and my doc is not prone to exageration. So now he has medicated drops for his conjunctivitis and antibiotics for the infection. I guarantee that he will not be in childcare this week to pass it on to some other poor child and their most likely, going insane parents
I've always said the same thing about sick people who come to work. So rude and downright selfish. They whine about needing the money...do they think I'm that rich that I can afford to be off sick with the germs they're spreading? Not to mention that research has found that you cost your employer more money coming to work sick than if you had just stayed home. The other excuse I love is that they need to be there! What, the world will end without their presence????
So if your kid is sick, keep them home...if you are sick, stay there too![]()
