Couple of questions??

Hi

We have just found out that i am 4 weeks pregnant with #2.... Very Excited

I have a couple of questions regarding our DD who will be 21 months old when the baby is born....

1. When did your toddler go into a bed, i have a Q/S bed and was going to put it against one wall and have a safety rail on the other side... Do you think this is ok for her age (21months)??

2. Car seats!!! Will I need to purchase another car seat or can i get a booster with a harness?? My car only has one anchor point and if that is used for the baby, can i get a seat that uses the seat belt to secure the seat and a harness to keep her in??? (we are trying to sell my car and get a bigger one!)

If anyone has any ideas, i would be greatful....

1. When did your toddler go into a bed

MY son ages 21 months just went into a bed in April. He is reasonably settled. My first son was 2 and a half and my 2nd son was 16 months

2. Car seats!!!

I would NOT recommend a booster for a 21 month old.. Personal opinion. We recently bought a Maxi Rider. for our 3 yr old. OUr 21 month old is still in his seat. I know the maxi riders are expensive but you could start saving now or lay by it.

If you do decide to go with a booster they have to be a certain weight. I think 14kg. but as I said I would not recommend one even though the law says they can go in them.
