Hi there
I need to get a double-pram for my 2 DD's and am having trouble deciding on a side-by-side one, or the one in front of the other type. I'm worried that the side-by-sides might be too wide - and if my older DD hopped out for a while, do they become tricky to steer or over-balance? And with the in-front ones, they seem very heavy and bulky. Just can't make up my mind. Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi i just bought the phil and ted pram with a toddler seat which can be reclined for toddler to sleep. so far i have found it a really good pram easy to steer and to open and close, its folds reasonably flat too. Its so much easier then a double one in front of the other type of pram, they seem very hard to steer and its like driving a train. I also tested out the side by side prams and they are very bulky , heavy and they do fit through some doorways but a very tight fit. I have found the phil and ted pram to be great and reasonably priced too
I have just bought the new strider plus as well and use it for my 2 1/2 year old and 4 month old. I love it. I can have the baby face me and can still see the toddler. I can switch them around, when this becomes an issue. It is super easy to pull apart or change the top seat to either face me for the baby or away from me for the toddler. Really easy to steer. Its wheels are a bit wider then most prams but I haven't found anywhere I couldn't go yet.
I can't say enough good things about this pram, its well worth checking out.
