ok so DD is 12weeks old and for the last week has been carrying on when i put her to bed, but only for her day sleeps.

from day one she has self settled, when she hasnt we have done controlled crying and with in 15 mins she is usually out cold.

but the last week she has just kept sooking and whinging.
i never let her get emtional with her crying, if she starts to sound upset i go in to her.
she used to have a dummy, well never really relied on it but would take it, she is now replacing it with her thumb prefer she didnt but thats another thread

thing is i can leave her go, and she can whinge/sook/protest cry for 45mins to a hour!
and then when she is asleep it lasts maybe a hour and we follow the same prgram till she goes back to sleep.


her routine looks something like this....

7:30-8am: wake up and 150ml bottle

9-9:30am: nap time

11-12: wake up and 200ml bottle

1-1:30pm : nap time

3-4pm: wake up and 150ml bottle

645pm: bath

7-730pm: 150ml bottle and straight to bed

then sleeps though the night.

im not used to having to deal with a baby who cry's and doesnt settle herself coz she has just done it

why would she be doing this now??
