Poor little bub was a bit unsettled yesterday afternoon and while I was carrying him around he was sucking on my shoulder a bit (I was wearing a tank top).
When Trev came home the first thing he spots is this dark red hickie.
yep, another one here, on my boob last week!!! She was starving and was getting so restless that she missed the nipple and started sucking on my boob. My god did it hurt, she's got a good suck on her that's for sure!!
I just noticed that Caleb was born a day after Nina
yup i got a hicky with my very first b/feed with my first daughter. obviously being the first one i had NO IDEA about breastfeeding and she was put there almost straight after birth, i did think wow this does hurt a bit, but all the after birth endorphins where floating around so i didn't really care, the midwife got such a shock when i eventually said is this meant to hurt, she got me to detach her and wow you should of seen the hicky gave everyone a good laugh
I had a hickie on my chin because I thought it was so funny that Oscar latched onto it...DP told me to get him off, and only elaborated as to why I should get him off after the purple souvenir appeared! He let me chuckle about it at the time without reminding me what happens when you suck on skin and then walk around with the mark for days!
LOL K gave me one on my chin too when he was little. He was upset and wanted a comfort suck and he latched onto the nearest thing that would fit in his mouth - my chin. I let him keep sucking whilst I got a boob out and ended up with a hickey!

When coco was a few months old I noticed a couple of red marks on her. I was quite panicked (they were near her wrist). Then one day I saw her sucking her arm and realised THAT was what it was, hickies!!! Very funny! I think she also gave me one on my shoulder!!! xo
