    Question Drinking water?

DD is almost 17months now and she was only having boiled water to drink (on its own and for her formula) and on her cereal etc. That is until she kept snavelling DD#1's drinking cups and downing them which are just tap water. So it sounds like a daft question but .......

DD#2 would be ok to have normal water now wouldn't she?

I asked because we kept DD#1 on boiled water for much much longer.

    TIA

This is an old thread, but I just wanted to chime in.
My DD has been on tap water from 6 months. I figured, she was eating solids, sticking all sorts of things in her mouth, so sterile water was the least of her problems (before that she was fully BF, so she never had boiled water). But, she went onto bottled water at about 18 months when they started fluoridating our water supply. I (and a surprising number of doctors, especially in Europe) strongly disagree with your dentist and believe that fluoride is harmful (especially to growing children) and unethical. She does drink some tap water when in the shower or after i brush her teeth, but I would never give it to her on purpose.
