DS is getting over the flu thats going around. Just prior to catching the flu, he started to wake in the middle of the night, and calling out. While he was sick, it was mummy only. Now, he's still waking in the middle of the night and calling put "mummy, I NEED you!" While it's nice to be needed, it seems to coincide just before or just after DD has her middle-of-the-night feeds.
Other times he'll just toddle down and climb into our bed. I love how he wants to cuddle in with us (me), but our bed just isn't big enough, and he's got a perfectly food bed- with the only electric blanket- and won't sleep in it. Bedtime is an issue too, but it coincides with DD bedtime feed (so, technically, she's going to bed too). Bedtime used to be so easy.
I have noticed his memory is much better within the last few weeks, like he's had some sort of mental growth spurt, but how would that affect his sleeping?
What can I do to help him stay asleep through the night? It's worse when he doesnt day sleep (Monday's and Fridays coz they're the days he's not in daycare). He's 3.5 yo, nearly 4.
He's just toddler in about 30mins ago, mumbled something to me I didn't understand , he repeated it 3 times and then just told me he's not happy in his room. He fell asleep again straight away, dh will take him back to his room again shortly.
