Not sure if this is the right place to put this but...

I just bought a blender from Aldi. I went to use it today, turned it on and DS (8 months) screamed bloody murder the whole time it was on (about 30 seconds) and now will not let me put him down, 30 mins later! It pertrified him!

I bought it so I can make a better variety of foods for him, he's been living almost totally on mashables for the last 2 months and I need to start adding some other foods. lol
He does have finger foods occasionally but we dont have a highchair so it's a bit tricky.

What can I do? Is there anyway I can get him used to it or do I just abandon the idea altogether?
