    Question EBM

Okay, totally new to expressing... Did it last night OMG Felt like a cow lolz!!!

    But anyways... Got some questions

How many mls should izzy be having per feed - (she's 9weeks)
    How do you store it...
And how do you heat it up...

I don't know about how much, someone else will have to help there! I'm really only expressing for top ups. I've only left one feed for nicholas, the mchn said to leave 80mls, but we didn't have to use it.

EBM keeps for 6-8 hours at room temp, 3-5 days in the fridge.

Just pop the bottle in a jug of hot water until it is warm, not for more than 10 mins.

    Good luck!

Mason has between 125-150ml of EBM at a time. In a cup of HOT water, it should only take a couple of minutes to heat up if its straight from the fridge. Remember you only need to take the chill out of the milk

Yup Mads already done that one! I'm so worried about leaving her at all! i wanted to at least make sure she gets fed... But my next quest is to see if she will take the bottle from someone else (also doing that before wednesday) because izzy is such a mummies girl she barely goes near anyone else let alone take a bottle from them! Oh gawd i hate the thought of leaving her... Starting to get really worried now!

cass I'm sure she'll be just fine! I've gone out and left Claire at home with my parents or my hubby and I leave EBM there for her. I freeze mine though because I dont use it that often. If I know I am going out though I put it in the fridge - just in bottles with a sealing disk or lid. She usually takes anywhere between 60 - 120 mls from a bottle.
