what aer all you first time mums buying your DH/DP for fathers day?
Im looking at something special as this will be the first year...

You could make a photo book from one of the online photo printing companies. I recently made one for DH for his birthday with pics of him and DD marking their first year together. It is just gorgeous and they both love reading it together.

Big W and Snapfish do them along with many others (try google). I used snapfish and they were very speedy getting it to me and the quality is fantastic.

I have bought a cheap canvass from cheap as chips and painted it, then added a black and white enlargement of ds, hand and foot prints and happy first fathers day and the date, with some scrapbooky embelishments as well. it has taken me a while as I can only do it when dp is out (he works from home) but im getting there!

I'm doing a scrapbook album of pics of DH and our DS. Its taking me forever cause just like Starrysky i can only do it while ds is asleep and dh is at work!

I have always either used paint and put thier hands and footprints in a picture frame that gets hung up till the new picture takes place the next year. Over the last 3 years I have taken to scanning thier hands and feet and getting a really nice picture of the kids with thier dad and printing and framing the lot..

Dh loves it and can't wait for this years picture..

you could get a photo of your bub and DH and get it printed on a mug or stubby cooler etc. BIg W do them and you can do it online then pick it up from store. i just made a card for DH's firt fathers day with a message from me and a message from DD.
