Foot cramps in 3yr old

DD#1 has been getting foot cramps on and off for the past couple of weeks......mainly happening after she has been sitting at the dinner table for a little while. Last night she had the most horrible cramp yet that she screamed the house down I felt so horrid for her as I'd get cramps during pg but the poor little sausage can't work it all out obviously - apart from that it really hurts her.

I'm thinking I might take her to the GP to begin with to see if she may need supplements?

Has anyone else's little cherubs gone through the same thing?

Oh that sounds absolutly terrible!.
I have no advice, my children have never expereinced this at all before so i would definatly take her to the doctor and just see what they say.

If it continues then get her vit/mins checked. I think from memory it is low magnesium that can cause muscle cramps. HTH
