More  Praying so hard for you guys.
Ive been checking for updates, csab, you are all in my thoughts, i am so hoping v has a full and complete recovery very soon.
big hugs to you, dont forget to look after yourself. xx
oh Cheryl, it is good that she is increasing her formula! i can't imagine how tough and heartbreaking it must be to see her so unwell and surrounded by all the machines
many hugs and get well wishes from all of us xx
Praying for your little girl. Great news that she is feeding a little more and holding it down. I hope her lungs clear very soon. My ds was in hospital with bronchiolotis a few months ago and I know how terrifying that was without it developing into pnuemonia - I can't imagine how heart breaking it must be for you.
All the best
Hey everyone.
We have some great progress today. V has now been moved into an open room, rather than the enclosed one she was in. They have put her on another machine, a less dependant one as she's making good progress. They have managed to suction loads from her chest and will continue to do so.
Cheryl sounded much happier today. Things are definately improving
Great to hear Cheryl (Georgi ;)). Hope that every day brings her closer to home.
That is fantastic news!! Nice work Miss V...hope you and your mummy are home very soon
Oh Cheryl   What a hard time you've been having the past few days.... Georgi just told me about this as I am not on BB much these days.... (no time!).
I read all the updates and it sounds like Little Miss Olivia is getting much better so that is just wonderful news :D:clap:
I am thinking of you, Olivia and your family. Keep the updates coming please xoxoxo BIG SQUISHY HUGS to you .
Hi Cheryl. Great to hear V is doing much better!! :) Still sending those get well vibes.
:pray:Oh Cheryl I am so glad that things improved today. things continue to improve and you and little V will be home quickly!
Oh My Darling I have completly missed this
My thoughts and Prayers are with you and Oliva
Your are one amazing Mummy
My thoughts and prayers are with little Olivia. May she continue to improve!!
A quick update:
As Georgi mentioned V has been moved to an open room yet still in ICU, and is still on a ventinlator to help with breathing. the muscle relaxant that V was on has been stopped and I am so happy to say that little V has started trying to open her eyes and is moving her self a little. We still need to see how tonight goes and with any luck V will have this ventilator removed and will have a different one added which will enable her to breathe more on her own come Monday. She will then be monitored a few more days if all goes well with that one and would then be moved to a ward. This however all depends on how well these next few days go.
It has been such a huge milestone and seeing V's little eyes and watching her moving is priceless.
Thankyou all again so much for your support as it really has meant alot. I am soooo looking forward to being able to cuddle little V, it has been so hard not being able to and feeling so helpless.
xxoo
All the best for a speedy recovery, bronchiolitis is scary enough let alone it developing into pneumonia
What WONDERFUL news to read before going to bed!
I am SO happy for you Cheryl that V is moving on toward recovery at a nice steady pace!
I work with babies and children in V's situation all the time, and I can only imagine how hard it must be for you.
Do you know how long it will be before they let you hold her? Oh I do hope it isn't too much longer!!! I bet the minute you get your hands on her she will start to feel better too!!!
HUGS to the moon and back for all of you.

Oh Cheryl, sorry I have missed this. I wish little V a speedy recovery. Take care of yourself too hun. xx
You poor thing having to go through all this, I hope she continues to recover quickly and you are all home soon.
Oh great news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankyou again everyone. Here is another update on V
Unfortunately V will not be moved onto the other one tomorrow, she will need to continue being on this ventilator for anywhere upto a week or longer (maybe another 4-5days) depending on how her days go. As she is still so sick it is just really taking it day by day. Her lungs are still quite sick.
V isnt so puffy anymore and can open her eyes abit more, she has these silent cries when she looks at me (if only I could hug her), and when she sees others around her. She is very shy.. She is still highly medicated which has her sleepy which is good, she really needs to sleep. She also has her silent coughs that will mean regular suctions from her chest. Yet they also cant over do it either only if she really needs it.
However her chest xrays have been looking alot better.
I am not sure on how long it will be before I can hold her, but I really cant wait.
I have still been told that we could still have some not so good days.
This internet here is so horrible, it drives me insane, so forgive me if I cant get on to update, yet I will continue to let Georgi know how everything is going.
Hugs
oh csab! it must be heartbreaking not being able to hold your little girl. thinking of you all, still praying little v gets lots better really soon. xx

Oh Cheryl, I've just read this thread for the first time, and wanted to add my very best wishes for Olivia's ongoing recovery. I'm so sorry she is going through this and that you are also :(
She sounds like such a brave little girl - she knows her Mum is there with her and I think this will help her to get stronger and recover well. You're a wonderfully strong woman to be holding up under the strain of seeing your little girl go through so much.
Thinking of you both and sending lots of strong healing thoughts xo
