Oh no, am sad to hear this. Big Hugs and lots and lots of healthy strong vibes for little miss V. Big Hugs for Mum too because I am guessing she will need some.

UPDATE:

I just got off the phone to Cheryl. Now, I'll do my best to relay the situation.

We have some progress. Olivia is taking 6mls of formula an hour & is holding it down perfectly.

Her heartrate last night increased to 160bpm so they had to up the machine to 38. It was on 40 yesterday, then she was doing so well that they could put it down to 30. Then she took a little step back so they have now put it to 38.

She had some x rays this morning which Cheryl is waiting to hear the results of. The doctors are in with V now so we're hoping for some news when they are done.

They have done more blood tests in hope to find something to help them provide treatment.

I clarified with Cheryl that yesterday the nurse said "Prepare for hard times ahead" NOT prepare for the worse as I previously stated. Sorry, this was my interpretation.

Cheryl has access to the internet there at the hospital and has read most of your reply's but was unable to post. She will try again later.

Cheryl - what a lucky little chickie V is having such a strong and nurturing mum in you. So glad to hear she is keeping her milk down. You are in my thoughts and prayers hun. Please don't drink too much coffee and try and eat some nutritious food :)
