    On Hun big hugs!!!

Some babies just take ages to talk and will babble for ages... My don was tested an had a great deal of hearing loss. Is she balanced? Does she react to noise?
Is she clumsy on her feet all together? These are signs of hearing impairment..
I know the feeling of not knowing but try and relax..
Hope you get some answers soon...

oh it must be hard.... i can only imagine the thoughts in your mind...

My son was the same he couldnt st on his own till he was around 16 months and he walked at 9 months but was so clumsy it wasnt funny.. he would fall but instead of on his bum he would fall flat on his head or face it was horrible and he used to watch tv with his hands on the entertainment unit or the tv itself..
he would walk in a narrow line instead of straight he was going crazy he used to also put his ears and stuff on the floor..
they said his hearing was extremely bad cant remember the % in each but it was very minimal..
The day of the test i was petrified of the outcome.. so bad i was ill
And when he wouldnt react to the noises i nearly spewed on my dh i was hysterical he just didnt flinch it was that bad..

He went on a series of treatments and alot of vibration treatment to stimulate his hearing and also on drops to keep his canals clear and clean so if any noise could get through it would, after maybe a yr old treatment and therapy his speech was alot clearer and his stability and clumsinesss reduced but is still there..
He still has hearing loss alot more in one side but thank god i got it early the therapist said the earlier the better..
Its along road and hard but so worth it when your child responds to the sound of your voice and can react back on it..itms?

Just went and looked at my sons book and he had at the time of testing 25% hearing capacity in one ear and 5% in the other but he now has 87% and 92% which is fantastic for me..
He actually has to go back in a months timee for a re-screen

I really hope your dd is just taking her tim eand its nothing major its a very hard path if anything is found and very gruelling my son disliked it and as soon as he would notice the dr's door he would scream cause he knew exactly what he was in for..

Keep positive, My son is 2 and he says 4 words (Car, Ta, More and No) all which he learnt about 4 months ago. I've just starting the hearing and ENT specialist process to see what is going on. You never know what is going on in their little heads, so do what ever you can and give as much love and attention as possible..

Sounds like you might be on the right path with the hearing tests, both my boys are on that ride now.
