head butting

YES! My almost 17 month old son does it & has been for a couple of months. He does it when he gets angry or frustrated. He'll headbutt anything & everything. I especially hate the sound of his head hitting the solid floor... ewwwww
He often has bruises on his forehead from it aswell.
I'm hoping its normal although I have heard alot of people say there little one did it at this age too so thats comforting. Now to hope it doesnt last long!!

My son did that a lot at that age too. It was mostly us and other children though that he would headbutt. We would remove him from the situation when he did it and told him that it hurt so that he learned relatively quickly that headbutting meant no more fun. He is now 2 and no longer head butts (and hasn't in many months). Now we're working on pushing.
