Milk Tounge

Hi

Ava is nearly 3 weeks old and has alot of milk residue on her tounge that wont go away, can anyone give me some advice on how to get rid of it.

Is it definitly milk residue, or could she have oral thrush?

DS had the latter, GP said it was milk residue, because there was none on the indie of his cheeks, after another week of it getting worse I got some daktarin gel over the counter and it was gone within a week, and never came back.

Maybe its worth getting checked out?

I never thought of Oral Thrush, ill get it checked out.

Izzy has this all the time and the MCHN said it was from the fat in my milk because we thought it was thrush as well... if it is thrush and you are bf'ing dont forget to treat your nipples too!!
