help - which pram with toddler seat to buy?

    hi

just a question to anyone who has used a 3 wheeler pram/stroller with a toddler seat, I have a toddler who will be 2 and 4 months when the new baby arrives and am looking at this option, but don't know what make to go for. If you have used one, could you let me know what it was like, what make, is it heavy to push with the toddler in?
    thanks

    hi,
i have a 3 wheeler pram with toddler seat, its a swivelrite deluxe from babies galore made by steelcraft. i paid around $400 for it almost 3 yrs ago but it was deffinatley worth the money. hallie was just 12 months and not yet walking when keira came along so there was no question i had to have the toddler seat. it has been a great pram and will be used for the 3rd baby in dec so all in all a bargin really.
i didnt find it heavy as long as the tyres were properly inflated and not almost flat. i would reccomend this pram or similar not necessarily the dear ones, even kmart and taget have them ....just make sure before you buy one that they make a toddler seat to go with that particular pram as they are an extra you have to buy seperatley.
    hope this helps.....

We have a mothers choice three wheeler with todd. seat. My mother bought it for us when we had DD#2 - so 2 years ago. I think she got it from target for about $250. Its been a great pram, no problems, easy to steer, rain cover, tyre pump, easy to fold down and erect up. I did find the pram a bit of a prob when the 'newborn' got older - they wanted to look around outside the pram etc, but in a sitting up possi her head was facing almost directly the back of the toddler seat. So when DD#2 got to about 6 months of age, we went for the side by side stroller......

I love the three wheeler without the todd seat too. So easy to push, and if we're out on a big day trip, its a nice size for bubs to lie down fully and have a sleep......

My DD will be 2 and 5 months when bubs comes along. I bought one of those adventure buggies. I haven't used it much with toddler seat yet just practise turns but seems to be quite good. I liked it cause its different from others the toddler seat sits up on the handle bars so when both are old enough to sit up no ones view will be blocked by another.
I bought it off e-bay too alot cheaper that way.

I'm another one with an Adventure Buggy - I bought it specifically because the seat sat on top rather than at the front, so both kids would have a view.

Friend of mine has gone with a Phil and Ted which she loves.
