I'm looking to buy DD's high chair in the next month and I'm so confused - there is far too much choice! I'm hoping the lovely BB girls can make my decision easier.
We have plenty of room for a high chair so space isn't an issue (so we don't want a space-saver type chair). I want one that reclines, has several different height settings and is on wheels. I'm happy to spend up to $300 if that amount is justified.
Before I get heaps of comments about the Ikea high chair, we've decided we don't want one of those. I know they are cheap, convenient and super easy to clean but it's not what we want.
So which high chair do you have and what do you like and dislike about it?
We just ordered one yesterday from pramwarehouse online and got the Steelcraft hi-lo messina it has 6 height positions and 4 recline positions (from memory) and a big basket in the back of it. It is on wheels which I love as I can wheel it around the house with me. My sister has the same sort of one Her DS is 5 now (no she isn't still using it ) but she will be using it for her DD soon too - still perfect condition.
I too have the Messina & so far I'm happy with it. Although DS isn't on solids yet I put him in it to give him a different view & he always looks comfortable in it!!
One thing I will say is that I find it hard to push backwards - the castors seem to stick. But that could be just the operator

One of my friends has a Steelcraft...sorry not sure what type....but it reclines n has wheels....and she loves it!!
Sorry I cant be any more help than that, Ive only used a cheap space saver and a one of those booster seats that strap on our dinning chair
