    Babies temp?

    Just a question, i have NO idea what a babies (or persons) temp is supposed to be? so i have no idea what a fever would be?
    Im gonna write it done and leave it with the thermometer so i know

    Im not 100% sure what a normal temp is, as everyone is different, but i THINK a normal temp is between 36-37...

    I am pretty sure a babies temperature is meant to be on average around 36 and anything ABOVE 38 is classed as a fever.

    36 is the average temp. and 38 is considered a fever. Anything 39 above needs medical assistance.

    From what my MCHN told up

    37 is a mild temp
    37.5 is a moderate temp
    38 and above is a high temp

    Her advice was while your baby is under 3 months, take them to the doctor if their temp gets above 37, unless it's because of immunisations. Between 3 and 6 months wait for it to go above 37.5, then after 6 months you can wait till it goes above 38. HTH
