Jodie, I read somewhere that the reason to stop wrapping is because if the baby rolls over, they may not be able to roll back onto their back.. again a sids risk. But I can't remember where I read that.

With the head getting stuck in the bars thing.. just make sure the cot meets the safety standards (not all of them do according to Choice), and then the bars won't be far enough apart for that to happen.

I say just go with what works We got home not long ago, and I transferred Tallon from the car straight to his cot unwrapped... and he stayed fast asleep! So I guess we're going unwrapped tonight! hehe.
