it's so bittersweet when they reach these milestones isn't it.
So now aside from nappies, he's really not much of a baby anymore.
I'm glad he's growing up, he's so much fun and I love everything about him at this age, and I wouldn't want it any other way, but I'm also aware of time marching on.
Well, the bed arrives in two weeks - a king single like his big brother has, and we're going to get a doona and sheets that he will like. It's low to the ground too, which I quite like, and it matches the chest of drawers I bought when I set up his nursery. It'll look great and he'll be a proper big boy now.
I need to get rid of the cot and his big pram to make space though, so need to get off my bum and get that done. I can't believe I'm not going to have a cot in my house anymore!![]()

Sushee, I did the exact same thing on the weekend. We've have the bed for a while so Ashton could get used to it being in his room, but we moved him into it, dismantled the cot and cleaned out all the baby stuff on the weekend.
know exactly how you're feeling
sushee, you're doing a great job helping him become independent! Kinda hard to not want the occasional 'baby' time with them though...
