Question is this kind of sleep normal?

DD is 13.5 weeks old. She has always just been a typical 'textbook' sleeper. She usually is awake for about 1.5 hours then sleeps either 45mins, or 2-3 hours during the day.

The last 2 days she has slept ALOT during the day. Yesterday she woke at 7:30am, went back down at 8:30am and i decided to wake her at 12:30pm (after 4 hours). She then stayed awake just shy of 1.5 hours before sleeping for another 3 solid hours. She had a quick cat nap at 6:30 pm before going down for the night at 8:30pm and sleeping through till 6:30am (with a feed at 3:30am). Thats alot of sleep. Total of 8.25 hours during the day and 10 at night.

Today she woke at 6:30am, then back to sleep just before 8am. I had to go out so i woke her after 2 hours. She managed to stay awake an hour and has been asleep for another 3 hours now. I dont know whether to wake her or let her go. Does she need it? is tha why she is doing it or is it a phase that all babies go through?

When she is up she is alert and happy and feeds well.

Ds wasnt a great sleeper so i never had a problem with him sleeping too much

    lol you go princess!

Nate used to feed all the time anyway but when he did sleep a bit I'd find his pants too short a couple of days later.
