I put DS in his Bum G pocket nappy before trying to put him to sleep at about 11 ths morning. He didn't fall asleep on the boob, and I thought well I'll see if I can settle him without it. He wouldn't fall asleep, not thru patting, singing or by giving bb. I let him get up & I had lunch, he had a play & snack and I changed his nappy at about 2 before trying to put him to sleep again. I pull the insert out to put it in the wash and there's a 2.5cm brown grasshopper on the insert! No wonder the poor lad couldn't sleep with a live insect in his pants. Thing is he wasn't pulling at the nappy or anything to show he was uncomfortable.
I'll be checking inside the pockets before I stuff in future.![]()

Thats funny, the poor cricket lucky he didnt drown lol!
I'm always paranoid about bees/wasps in clothing, they seem to hover around wet clothing on the line in this hot weather.
Aww poor bubba. And ewww at the cricket. Funny that it didn't start chirping on him.
You're right about the drowning - it was a very wet nappy! The bl00dy thing wouldn't let go of the insert - kept climbing up towards my fingers & I'd turn the insert upside down & it'd climb up again - eventually shook it off - didn't kill it though that only just occured to me.
Have now got the nappies on hot wash!
Eww at the cricket! Poor bub.
That reminds me, when i changed DS's nappy a few days ago, he had a green pea stuck between his doodle and testes lol!
