    Lowering DD's cot

    Good morning,
I was wondering when I need to lower my DD's cot mattress down to the lower level?

Also at what age do they need to start having a pillow?

    Thanks everyone,
    Dan.

I lowered Blake's cot when he could roll both ways, he can pull himself up onto the bar if raised. I think no pillows till 12 months. HTH

I think we lowered Aidyns cot once he was pulling himself up... Although I think they recommend that once bubs can sit on their own, to lower it?
And we didn't give him a pillow (a Jnr one) until after he turned 2.

Whenever she's capable of pulling herself over the edge of the railing is a good time to lower.

We didn't give our kids pillows until they were 2 or three. But one of mine used a stuffed animal as a pillow before she was 2--she did this on her own.

With DD#1 we lowered the cot when she could sit up on her own. She has just turned 3 and still doesn't sleep with a pillow.........don't know if this is a good or bad thing actually......
