HI
Hannah is going to be nearly 3 when the baby arrive, I am really unsure what to do in the stroller department. I like to walk so I thought that I am gong to need a double in some form. Does anyone have any advice - do 3 year olds still go in strollers or are they walking everywhere?
I would say wait till the baby is here and see how you go. Thats what I am going to do.. My youngest now will be 2 and a bit when baby is born.. My other son was 23 months when my youngest now was born but he just sat on the front of the pram or stood on the back..
Another option is to get your 3yr old riding a bike/trike.. and see if they enjoy doing that when you go walking
My DD#1 wasnt 3 when sophie DD#2 was born. -SHe was 2.5. But we bought a three wheeler with a toddlerseat. When she got too big for it (around now, 3.5) we invested in a side by side stroller.
I was a bit like you , didnt want to buy a new pram when DD#1 maybe just as happy to walk, but i at least wanted the option of being able to have a seat for her KWIM?
At first she likes to walk......but towards the end of the shopping trip, her lil legs do need a rest. SHe's 4 in Sept....and still likes to sit in the pram occassionally.
We got a clip on thing but it's not just a step it's a seat! Which means if he's tired or wants to look at a book/toy he can. We stopped using a stroller around 3 1/2 but it takes us a while to get anywhere as he likes to dawdle thus the clip on thingy ( I think it's called seat to go)

Maybe you could get a skate board thingy that goes on the back. Or maybe use a sling for the new bub and your big girl could have the pram for a while.
