Miss Independant... :(

The last few days Bella has not wanted to feed in my arms (prefers to lay on the floor proped on a pillow) and has only gone to sleep by her self in her cot...She used to do all these things in my arms...

I know that she is getting bigger ( 4 months +) and she is a big baby 8.5 kgs and 66 cms long... but she is getting really independant and wants to be on the move all the time and constantly lookig around and its all great... I just miss holding her all the time like I used to when she was smaller....

She does love to be carried upright on my hip and she gives great cuddles...

She is just growing up SO FAST!!

Was saying to DH that I would love to preg now... but will wait a while longer!!

Yeah Bella is a long baby... she is no way a fatty just long like her dad.. he is 6 foot 7!! Maybe she is one of these "fat formula fed babys!!" hehehe

BTW.. she just had a little nap on my lap... now she is learning to roll form front to back!! hehehe I put her one way in the mat and she ends up another!!! Cute...

Hmm dunno about that theory of "fat formula babies" both of mine have been formula fed and are skinny but long things!!! I know what you mean about long - dunno what she is now but she's damn long.. bout 75cm maybe? Pretty long (but only really looks long when I'm holding her cos I'm so friggin short.. lol)

Ahhh my kids are going to tower over me - you'll probably experience that too

Lachlan is exactly the same. Doesn't want to be held and wont fall asleep in my arms. He had a major breakdown yesterday because he was so tired and we were out and he had to sleep in my arms which he did not want to do.

He too is a big baby at 8kg so it must be a big baby thing. Its very sad coz they grow up so quick and he is growing up even quicker.

Isabel - our bubs sound so very simular! They both have reflux issues as well!

Maybe being big bubs and reflux isues make our arms not so nice anymore??

Glad to know its not just Bella... was begining to think she just didnt like me any more!!
