    multivitamin for toddlers

    Hi All

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a great multi for toddlers (and babies)? DD3.6yrs is a preschool 2 days a week and is always bring home colds (which I know is good for her immune system) and I am getting sick of her being sick and then DS/me/Dh getting sick off her.

We tried a chewable one from Coles but she hated it.

    TIA

We use pentavite. It's a liquid - citrus flavor and our boys love it. It also has added iron. Another thing to look at maybe a probiotic. We use inner health for kids as they say immunity starts in the gut. My DS1 hardly ever gets sick these days & if he does it's a mild version runny nose etc. he is 4.5. DS2 is just building his up & we probably get a week of him being well before he gets it again. He is 2 in July.

My 2 boys have blackmores kids chewable tabs they are strawberry. They are 2 and nearly 4 and started then just before DS2 was 2.

We use the Natures Way, Kids Smart Gummies - easy to eat - they are soft and chewable like lolllies. The only thing I don't like is that they are sugar coated

I sometimes get floradix tonic and add it to a drink of juice.

I've been giving my DD, aged 2.5years, Natures Way multivitamins and probiotics. We specifically use the Vitamin C one, the one for Fussy Eaters, and also the Probiotic Choc balls. My DD was ill for quite a while, and we began these products to help her get better sooner after a diagnosis was reached and proper meds administered.
She looks a lot healthier now, has more energy and is her ususal self again. If its going to help, then I say go for it, we've never regretted our choice
