Bubs has fever so do I still dress her the same?

Poor DD has been really sick for a week, and has had a low fever for days.

So tonight I just dressed her in her normal PJ's (singlet, long sleeve body suit and cotton pjs) and put her in her sleeping bag, and her head and back of her neck feel pretty hot. She's not sweating or clammy, but should I take a layer off?I am really worried about over-heating her because of the risk of SIDS, but I don't want her to be cold in her bed either...

I am just not sure whether it is better to keep her warm or cool with a fever?

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Anna,
I would strip off a layer personally, Ive put DD to bed in a singlet and pants when she has had a fever. I think its always easier to just pop a layer back on if she gets cold. Hope your Bub gets better soon, we are sick here too

I would probably take a layer off but make sure the room remains warm so she doesn't get a chill.

Also have you tried a warm bath to bring the fever down. Put some white vinegar (not brown) in it. About a cup full. My grandmother told me this and seems to work a charm for my two boys. The vinegar smell doesn't last long as the brown one smells the most.
