It's funny all the mixed emotions that you feel as they get older isn't it?!...bittersweet, i know how you feel.

But really they are still so little! In a few years when they start school etc, we will look back at this time and think how little they were, and we thought they were so grown up!!

I love it how you really see their little personalities coming out now! It's a very special time

Its funny you should mention this! Olivia turned 2 in April and has recently started occassional care on Mondays for 5 hours. Today she walked in kissed me good bye and went off to play. When I got there to pick her up she was still quite happy and was talking about her new friends. I cant believe how quickly shes grown up and then it scared me and I felt all sad that before I know it she'll be off to school. Slow down time!

Yup 2 was a big thing for me to get into my head - and he's getting closer to 2.5 now... which is even scarier!!!

But he comes out with the funniest things sometimes...

Yeah, I felt the exact same way when DS1 turned 2.

Happy birthday to your little man for wednesday.

I gave birth to Tom the same week my eldest dd announced her engagement. I kept thinking of when she was a new baby and the time really has gone in a heartbeat. It's made me even more determined to enjoy every minute of my wee man who is already five weeks old, in the blink of an eye.

Nooooooooo.......2 is still a baby, and I REFUSE to believe anything different!! LOL.
Poor Jack, I'll still be calling him a baby when he's 15 if I don't have any more, hehehe.

My little man will be 2 next week (Monday) and I am torn I am loving the new, chatty, intelligent, creative dynamo (not that I am biased ) but I miss the baby. Little things he used to do that he has now outgrown - like he used to say geearf which is now almost perfectly giraffe. Silly stuff. But it has all gone by so very fast ..........

And now DD is already over 5 months Where did that go?!?!?!?
