    Question newborn and panadol

    So my little boy is old enough to have panadol but the Question is it states for babies 4kg and up, my lil boy would be mayb 3kg if abit smaller, how much would you give to him?

    0.6ml for a 4kg baby

    why does he need it? maybe see your dr first hope hes ok

    there should be a ml/Kg ratio on the box. You can calculate that way.

    Why does he need panadol?

    he has reflux and a pharmacist said he can have it for that, just i forgot to ask how much cause of his weight

    hey hun, I'm not sure that panadol will do anything for reflux anyways and I'd be reticent to use it at his weight/age unless truely necessary. I'd be more inclined to go with keeping him upright and propping up the head of his bed etc.
    Their kidney's just aren't ready to deal with it

    Panadol will not help reflux. Panadol should not be given to children under 4kg. For children 4kg and over the dose is 15mg/kg with a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours
