I looked into that and apparently there seems to be no link between the baby acne and the chance of getting acre (or it's severity) when they reach puberty :)

DS had them from about 2 to 9 weeks - DD never had. What I read suggested they are actually more common in boys, is no indication of whether they will get acne later in life - and although has at some point in time been linked to bf hormones in the milk, this has been disproved and FF babies just as likely to suffer. There are two types Milia (milk spots) which are whitish on top and baby acne which are the red pimples - the milia tends to disappear quicker, some bubs get both (DS had both bad for a couple of weeks then the Milia went and just had the red pimples) - baby acne can be around for up to 6 months but I read that most bubs lose by 12 weeks.
Even though you said ff abd bf babys have similar chance (thats how I read it anyway) I still find it interesting.
I put off baby photos due to dd's pimples never thought of air brushing.
Both my boys got them. DS1 only had them for about two weeks. DS2 has them really badly and so far they
have lasted about 3 weeks. He's 7 weeks old now and they are starting to improve a little. Both were breastfed.
