Gabby gets: Gabba or Gabba-Gabba-Goo (like the yabba dabba doo from the Flintstones). I call her bubba sometimes too. Neil calls her the Gabstar because I am the Debstar ;)
Friends of ours have 3 kids and their youngest gets called Bubba and probably will forever because he is the youngest.
Xander gets xXx (triple X, or just X) or my sister calls him bubbykins, and has done from birth!!
Declan just gets "Decca" thats all Xander can say, and its catching on!!
My mother has 6 kids, and she tried to choose names that couldnt be shortened (Simone Leanne, Kellie Tenielle, Kyle Ian, Emma May, Blake Jesse and Tori Cassandra) as she "hates" nicknames (apparently!!) I always get called "monie," kellie gets "lellie," "lelliebean," or "jellybean" (a daddy nickname) I call my youngest sister "TC" as her name is Tori Cassandra, and Blake gets "BJ" as his name is Blake Jesse.
Funny isn't it how nicknames aren't always the easy ones. I don't think there is any name that can't have a nickname for it.
