Is it possible that Miss B could be having nightmares? and if so - what could they possibly be about at her age?
Last night she was stiring quite a bit and at one stage i let her go and than she started screaming and sobbing her little heart out - she was so distraught that i brought her into bed with us (we havent done that before except for morning cuddles).
It took awhile for her and her sobbing and breathing to settle down!
What on earth could she of had a bad dream about at her age?
Anyone elses bubs have had nightmares at such a young age?
My DS has nightmares too and has from a young age. Now they having developed into a bit of night-terror type thing where he will be sobbing "Mummy, Daddy" over and over again but he is still asleep and we just cannot calm him. It is heartbreaking and a bit scary when they have a nightmare, but I think the only thing we can do is lots of cuddles and reassurance. I have no idea what they could be about - in DS's case probably that he has lost one of his big trucks - but I found they tended to increase during stages of developement, like when he was learning to walk etc. I guess their minds are working overtime? He doesn't have them often, but he is definiately having a nightmare.
