    Normal? A few questions...

I feel kinda silly asking, seeing how Tristan is my second child.... but Brendan spent the first 6 weeks in hospital so I missed a lot of the 'newborn' things.

Tristan is now 10 days old.... has been home for 2 days. He's fully Breastfed.

1st question, about poop... He's doing the yellow poop, but it's still curd like rather than a paste, also theres lots of water(clear fluid) coming out with it, is that normal? And when does it change to the pasty yellow poop?

2nd question, Umbilical Cord.. When does it fall off? Brendan didn't have the little bit left because he had wires into his umbilicus for a few days after birth.

    Thanks

Everything is normal even the poo. Don't you love this stage!!!!
The poo will settle down soon but you will still get the pooexplosions that are just that, explosions.
If your are still concerned ring your MCHC and talk to her or ask to see her.
You can also ring the hospital where you had Tristan for reassurance and NEVER feel embarrassed about enquiring about your child/rens health.
The umbilical cord should fall off any day some take longer than others to fall off the it's usually within 2 weeks.

Yup. If you can get the Haynes Baby Manual do so - it has pics of all the different types of poo and reassures you that they're all normal.
