Not sure what I have done different

But I am liking it. Both my children (3yrs and 18 mths) are both in bed and asleep by 6.30 for the last 3 nights.. And it is only taking 20 mins max.

DH has been on afternoon shift, so I have been doing dinner, bath and bed and have been getting them settled in their own beds and sound asleep by 6.30pm.

The differences are DH isn't home, they are in a room together (and I stay till they are asleep) and going to bed at the same time cause there is no-one to keep DD company..

Maybe DH is my bedtime problem

Me too, when Dh is around (like tonight for a whole *helpful* 15 minutes) it all went to poo!

    We rock on our own!!

Glad I am not the only one with a problem DH, LOL..

But the nights DH has been home and tried this last week, he has unfortunately failed miserably.. Looks like I am going to be on bedtime duty every night..

Ah sucks doesn't it? Sometimes I'm sure DH does it badly so it seems like I'm the only one who can do it.
Though it has worked out well for us as at least I don't have them screaming for daddy when he works 300km away.

My girls get too excited when he walks through the door and they're just off to the bedroom....so the jumping on the beds etc starts. So much quicker when he's not around. But i know both they & him love it when he puts them to bed...

Hmm... Tonight and tomorrow night I am on my own, we'll see how I go!
Maybe DH is our problem too? He always seems to take about an hour to put DD down!
