Red face oh no! she ate a sultana FROM HER NAPPY!!

oh dear, DD#2 just walked over to me and handed me a sultana out of her mouth.
then I realised I didnt have any sultanas out where she could get them.
    then I smelt her nappy.
then I saw a pile of pooey sultanas on the floor that had fallen out of her nappy
I dont think she ate any, just chewed on one a bit
will she be ok?! will it make her super sick?
OH MAN THATS SO GROSS!!! poor lil darlin!

    Sorry, but
    Y'no, it'll probably be fine
I don't *think* DS has eaten his poo before, but he's put all sorts of inappropriate things in his mouth and is fine.

Just keep an eye on her - I guess if she gets an upset tummy you'll know what it is.

Gross and very funny you described it so well!!!! I am sure she will be fine, as the others have said most kids have put something gross in their mouth at some stage. My eldest DD springs to mind she had a munch on a snail when you eat them raw they apparently don't like it and froth and bubble and it (the slime)does'nt just wash away

ahh I had forgotten (almost) about these little treasures we have to look forward to.. two of my kids ate poo, all fine now & they hate to be reminded of it!
It'll make a great story to tell her one day

    ooooh, thats just nasty

I often look at the plumped up sultanas in the nappy and wonder how much of his food my ds actually chews.

eeewwww, not that I can talk.. We had a poo incident of the animal kind here last week. Left DF, Bella and the new puppy together in the loungeroom, you can already see where this is going.. did a bit of work in the office for 20 minutes, kept calling out and asking if all was cool, got the half assed yep from DF. Walked out of the office and smelt a disgusting smell, Bella was sitting right next to DF covered from head to toe in dog poo. By the look of things she had been playing in it the whole time I was gone. I was ropeable. She didn't eat any I don't think, she's too fussy...
