saline? can you do it too much?

hi there
ds2 (1 month old today!) has been snotty for a week or so (DS1 brings everything home from creche) and I have been using saline to clear his nose...
wanted to check is there a limit on how often and for how long you should do this? i have just been doing it 1 or 2 times a day - some days not at all.. but thoguht i should know how often is too often - dont want to do any harm etc.

1-2 times a day is fine.
are you using litttle fess? if so its on teh box
i think up to 3 times a day as long as there is mucous from the nose is fine.

if there is no irritation or redness around the area and it is dried appropriately afterwards all should be good.

no there is no limit
if you are breastfeeding use breast milk for the antibacterial properties..
