I am certainly not complaining about this but I was out at a BBQ last night DD seemed unsettled as we got close to her normal bed time so I gave her a feed and said my good byes and came home.

Its not very far from where I live so she screamed the whole way home. I was home by 9.30 so I changed her and put her in some fresh clothes and decided to let her suck to sleep. By 10.30 I moved from the lounge into her bedroom and I sat and rocked to to sleep (the swaddling woke her a bit) popped her into bed and went to bed myself - around 11ish maybe just after by this stage.

Well little miss slept until 6.45am this morning I also leaked all over my doona but she would have slept longer but I couldn't hear or feel her breathing and her face was cool so of course I panicked and shoved my icey cold fingers down her pjs to check the rest of her temp and to feel her HB so it was a good 7 almost 8 hours solid (for her I woke a few times wondering when she would wake up) how common is that for a 7 week old? She could have just been exhausted from the day yesterday following a hot day the day before

I had her on a play mat the other day and she got super grizzly after a little bit when I picked her up I noticed she was wet so I smelt the wet patch and I swear it smelt like cat pee so of course poor moggy got into trouble ..... fast forward to this morning .... DD peed when I changed her nappy and I noticed for the first time that her wee was yellowish and smelt like cats pee ....I have only just recently started drinking coffee again but no more than 2 caffeinated drinks in a day. Is she dehydrated making her pee smell like that and be all yellow? Is it the coffee? something else like my vitamins which I keep forgetting to take then remember so not a consistent iykwim?

I do not really go around sniffing wee but I was curious

I know I am probably worrying over nothing, please don't ask how many times a day I feed coz I really couldn't tell you. I use to pay a lot more attention to it but that seems to have stopped I know we have up to 4 feeds in the morning and she cluster feeds late arvo and evening as to the number of times though

how normal are these things??
