    Question what is...

    ...considered a normal/average temp for a baby? maddy has been very whingey all day and her cheeks are very flushed. (i hope she isnt getting sick) i just took her temp and its 36.2

    any help would be great, thanks girls!

    Trying to wrack my brain here - from memory 36 to 36.5 up to 37.4 (something around there anyway). 36.2 is normal. I don't know much about babies yet but could she be teething? HTH.

    I could be wrong, but I think a temp on a baby is anything over 37.5? Really depends on the doctor though - I've had drs say anything over 37 degrees.

    Ok, BIL is a nuse and he just said 37.5. Hope your lil one is feeling better soon.

    over 38 i would be seeing a doc straight away. 40 and i would be at the emergency dept.

    My ds used to get flushed cheeks when he was teething. Hope she settles down for you soon.
