Period...Already??

I think i've just got my period back, my DS is 17 weeks old. I've been haiving problems feeding and have had to comp 2 feeds with Formula. Could this be the reason?

When did everyone else get their period back? Is this normal?

I really thought i'd get longer than this

Bummer! Every one is different, but if you have been comp feeding I would say that has probably contributed to an early arrival of AF

DS1 - around 6 months - fully b/f until then
DD - Around 4 months from memory - when I intro a bottle of formula
DS2 - fully b/f and STILL 6 months - blah

Hi, I got mine back about 8 weeks after Georgia was born. I had the normal post birth bleeding just lightly for 6 weeks then two weeks after that stopped I got my period back. It is still not regular yet but seems to be getting there. Before I was pregnant I was text book 28 days cycle.
Georgia is fully breastfed.

With Darcy it was 6 weeks for me, with Nate I'm still waiting, so everyone like the girls have said is different.
The AF may have contributed to the feeding difficulties though as bubs sometimes don't like the taste change the hormonal changes bring.

yeah i found (through retrospect!) that the cycle leading up to my first AF had DD fussing like crazy and i thought my supply was going to dry up as my .Y. felt really empty ITMS. so i jumped back on the elevit and bought a years supply of aktavite LOL!

mine came back at 6 months on the dot with DD fully B/F. all the other full-timers had like 9-13 months...boo hoo!

Fully breastfed and AF returned at 8 weeks for me too!

I got mine back when Harrison was 8 weeks old and I was fully breastfeeding.

I got mine approx 4 weeks after my post partum bleeding ended.. and I was fully Bf My Ds 1 was comp fed from 5-6 weeks and I got my period at the same time as my BF bubs..

DD is 16 weeks and is fully BF and over night and yesterday I got mine back! Not happy.

Got mine back at 16 weeks...BF baby! Kept breast feeding until he was 15 months...

It really seems to be an individual thing!

Bailey is fully BF and I got mine at 7 weeks - DOH, was hoping the BF would hold it off!!
