I'm looking for some websites with port folios of photographers within Brisbane that do birth photography.
This is the last bub for me I think, and I want to get some pics of the birthing experience, but my DH isn't convinced.
So I thought if I could show him some websites, he might come on board. I've spent ages on google, and only found 1 that looks like they do birth. Stacks do newborns.
Hmm hard one, i know of a few good photographers, but dont think they do birth photos, i suppose u could call some and just asked if they would mind doing it?
My sister took all my birth photos, and i love looking back on them, even hubby looks at them and is in awe of what he sees.
Good luck finding a photographer.
What part of brisbane are you in?
Im in the Redlands also, i have had all 5 of my children there and am planning on having the next one there.
Have u called any photographers yet?
My wedding photographer was really good and i know she takes pregnancy photos and newborns, but i dont know if she would do birth photos, all it would take is a phone call, the worst that would happen is that she would say no.
Look up Papillion photography, and all her details are there.
Would hubby or another support person be willing to take the birth photos?
Well good luck with it all, if u ever want to catch up after bubs birth and have a chat, just give me a pm.
Im home with the kids most days. The life of a sahm.
I don't think you'll have much luck googling because the sort of photography you're after doesn't have a huge commercial market (I for one cannot understand why!!) so photographers don't tend to use it as an advertising point. But if you find someone whose images you like I'm sure you'd they'd be happy to do it on request.
Try Katrina Christ - she actively markets herself through the Mater hospital and has a wonderful eye. I drive past her studio in Stanley St all the time and admire the prints in her window I'd bet you'd have some joy with her.
Thanks for the advice guys. I too think it would be a graet market! I have a good friend who is an amatuer photographer, but I think I'd have more luck with DH if I sourced a professional one.
Anila.. i'd luv to catch up.. i don't have very many friends locally.. they are all on the far north side. I work 5 days a week though.. and at this stage.. think i will be returning within 2 months..
Though after last night getting up to the 19mo 3 times, changing the 4.5yo sheets twice from wee accidents and then having to get up at 5am to get my day started... I'm exhausted. The idea of throwing a newborn into that mix makes me cry. Which i have done alot today.. very overwhelmed.
