Just recently DS has developed a minor rash around his chin, and a little bit on his back and stomach. It's nothing too bad, but is the first rash he's had since the normal hormone rush young bubs get.
About the same time DS's poos have gone a bit strange. On the green side and a bit stringy, but don't smell any different. The different poos have also left DS with a slight nappy rash.
None of these things seem to be bothering DS, but I'm just trying to work out what may have caused them. I think it's either solids, or teething? The thing is, it all started about the time DS started on carrot sticks - but he's only really sucked on them and barely consumed any, so it couldn't be that could it? Before that he was on pear, but he'd been on that for 5 days beforehand with no problems. His poos hadn't even been any different with the pear and the pumpkin he'd had before that. My other idea is teething, as I just discovered yesterday that his first tooth has come through. DS didn't display any of the usual teething symptoms I've heard of: no crankiness, no excess drooling or chewing, no bright pink cheeks, etc. He was however a bit sleepier than usual. Is it possible that the rash and different poos are from teething? Or is it solids? Or both? Just trying to work it out, and am hoping someone can help me .
