    Question purple hands

I know that babies often get purple hands and feet but this morning my DD who is nearly one had REALLY REALLY purple hands. They were very dark. They weren't too cold and she seemed fine so I was wondering if this is anything to be concerned about? Her hands are very chubby so I'm wondering if she has poor circulaton and if there is anything I can do?

yeah i'd probably go and get it checked. it could be that she was sleeping on them?? but, i reckon i'd call the dr to check it out. or call the MACH nurse line...

Update on MAckenzie's chubbiness and purpleness!! I spoe to doc this morning while we were getting immunisations. She was slightly concerned because they are so swollen. She wants us to see our paediatrician a bit earlier so that's happening in 1 1/2 weeks unless we can get in earlier. She didn't really say what it could be but she said that her wrists were very tight and hands and arms very swollen. Hope she's okay!!

oh no!! I guess it cant be that urgent if you didnt have to go straight away or anything and if the dr didnt elaborate then i guess it isnt such a big deal??? i hope not anyway!
do they look more 'swollen' than her usual chubbiness to you?
now i wonder if i should get N's checked too...
hope the immunisations went ok as well.
