    Reaction to immunisation

My son is 11 weeks (6 weeks corrected) and had his 2 month needles yesterday at about midday.

He has been unsettled, I have given him a couple of doses of paracetamol (last night and this morning) which seemed to help. In the last two hours he has become more and more unhappy, and an hour and a half ago he did a very runny green poo followed by four vomits in under 10 mins. That is very unlike him, especially as he was about due for a feed. Normally he only does a few vomits each day, and always soon after feeding. After feeding he did another three. He is now very tired but is obviously very unhappy. He doesn't have a fever.

I have read that the pneumococcal vaccine can uncommonly cause vomiting and diarrhoea, I'm just wondering at what point do I worry about him becoming dehydrated? His nappies have been wet, but the vomiting is only recent. I also don't want to give him anymore paracetamol while he is like this, unless I know it's okay.

ETA He had plenty of paracetamol while in hospital a few weeks ago and was fine, so I don't think he's reacting to that.

Personally, I would contact the emergency room & find out what they think, whether you should take him in or not. I'd be worried that he's having a reaction to the immunisation.

*hugs* Hope you're doing ok with him being sick, it's tough when you don't know what's wrong.
