well we have ahd to put DD 21 months into a bed as she is very clever and figured out how to climb over the rails when fully up
so we were scared one day she will slip and catch her chin or nose and hurt herself.

well last night was her first night and it went ok

but how do u get them to stay in their bed.
she got up once at 9 to come out and say hi little cheecky thing she even bought her pillow out to sit on the lounge and watch a movie with us.

then we heard her walking up the hall at 1 am. with her pillow again trying to get into our sons room to sleep with him

and then she was up at 6 am very odd for her, she usually doesnt stir all night till 7 am.

is it because she knows she can get up she is up or is she just not feeling secure without the side on her cot anymore?

and tips as to how to keep her in would be great.
we dont have a saftey rail on the cot, as its only 10-15 cm off teh floor anyway and we have her bean bag next to the bed incase she rolls out.

thank you
