    Question Red Spots

    Hi everyone
My 11 month old DD woke up last friday with A few red spots on her legs, by lunch time she had 6 spread around her body. I took her to the doctors thing it was chicken pox and he told me he was unable to tell as it was to early but i would deffinatly know by the morning as she would be unwell and the spots would have gone crusty.

Well its now been 3 days and she has a few more spots but they havent changed into crusty things and she is not unwell and they dont appear to be itchy or effecting her in anyway.

The are fairly small flush agaisnt her skin and are a dark red colour. She has around 10 altogether spread around her arms and legs but none on back or chest.

If anybody could give me any advice on what these could be would be very much greatfull. And does anybody think that it could be chicken pox.

    Sorry about the long post
    Thanks Amber

From memory when i had chicken pox they started as a red spot then turned into a boil looking lump as if they had a yellowish liquid in them and then a week later started to scab so not sure youd be looking for a crusty look after a day?

How big are the spots? theyre not mozi bites are they? Not sure whatelse they could be..

Hope the lil pet is ok.

I dont know whereabouts you are or what your weather is like but could it be a heat rash of some sort?

Yeah, I was wondering that given they are on her arms and legs, the most likely to be uncovered body parts, that maybe they're insect bites and she reacts badly to them?
