I have all the same gender but at such a young age I don't really think it matters. My two eldest boys share, they have shared a room since DS2 was 15 months old. Through choice more than anything. I think I would leaning towards putting your eldest 2 in a room together and have bubs in its own room. Might mean less disruption for the older children during the night to begin with.
