DD is not happy to be sitting. She whinges, cries and works up to screaming until you stand up with her. Same position up on your shoulder, in the glider/rocking chair, nup, not good enough, but stand up and she's fine What is the difference??????

My back is killing me. Is there some proven reason that holding a baby while standing is preferable for them? Or is or just my DS?
