Madison is driving me nuts at the moment, she has this thing to wake Charlotte up in the mornings, and its like at 7am, and this morning it was 6:30am, poor Charlotte was so tired she had a feed and went back down with me till 9am, we have tried putting up a gate in front of Charlottes bedroom, but Madison just tried to get through it and got stuck and then called out, whilst waking Charlotte up at the same time.
She has also stopped listening to me, and then when i yell at her, she tells me to "stop yelling at me", she is also squilling alot more, grrrr, I am sooooo looking forward to Tuesday ( yay for Childcare), Charlotte will be able to sleep.
Matilda does the same thing to Jovie. We've had 2 days where she has woken Jovie up at every sleep so we started time outs for loud voices in the room where Jovie is. Its not always the best option, but after a day of us putting her in time out everytime she raised her voice in the room she's better today, she forgot at one point, but that was forgivable. goodluck!!
Oh Kelly, I understand! I went through this when my DD was a baby and DS was a toddler. For us it came down to him wanting attention. I couldn't stop the early morning wake up, but what did work was if I got up with him and we spent some alone time before bub woke up. Other than that I just really tried to use bub's sleep time as 'special' time for us. Sounds easier than it is I know, when all you want is some sleep! Hope it all improves and Madison cuts mum some slack soon!
